Esther, Age 6 (at the zoo)

Esther: Dad, can we buy one of those birds?
Dad: No, the zoo animals aren't for sale.
Esther: Then why do they have tags on their legs? (thinks) Oh, I know - so when they feed them, they can call out "Now serving number 6... now serving number 7..."
